Weekend Competitions

Saturday's competition will be a Multi Tee Individual Medley Graded Stableford, Women's Individual Stableford and Medley 2BBB.

Sunday's competition will be a Medley Individual Stableford and Medley 2BBB.

Players may elect to play off any of the four tees suitable to their level of skill and handicap.

Men's Midweek Cup

Congratulations to Jimmy Lane who took out the 2025 Men's Midweek Cup, with a two round total of 79 stableford points.

Emerge Festival

This year's Willoughby City Council’s Emerge Festival will showcase Northbridge Golf Club with a Grazing on the Green event held at the club this Sunday. With Food, Fine Wine, Music & All-ages Putting & Long Drive Competition.

Women's Sunday Pennant

There was no Dog Day Afternoon at Bardwell Valley Golf Club last Sunday, as our Women's Sunday Pennant team executed their game plan and have now progressed to the final. After the match score finished all square after 18 holes, Shannon Bernasconi was chosen to play the tie breaker and cooly closed the deal on the second sudden death playoff hole.

Boatman's Trophy - Mixed Foursomes 

Entries for the Mixed Foursome - Boatman's Trophy will open tomorrow (Saturday 27th) and will close Sunday, (October 19th). One qualifying round will be played on Sunday 2nd November, with the top 8 teams to move into the match play rounds in a seeded draw.

Northbridge GC Senior Order of Merit

On Monday October 20th Northbridge will host the Golf NSW Senior Order of Merit (SOOM), The Senior Order of Merit is open to male amateur golfers aged 50 years and over who are members of an affiliated Golf NSW Club & who hold a current Golf Australian handicap.

Changes to GolfLink

Golf Australia is launching a new digital platform called Golf Australia CONNECT, replacing the long-standing GOLF Link platform and introducing the new website GOLF.com.au and a dedicated handicap app. The new system goes live on October 2, 2025, and will provide golfers with a personal portal for their GA Handicap, scoring history, and a lifelong Golf ID. This is a nationwide transition affecting all affiliated golf clubs.

The MiClub system will be transitioned to Golf Australia Connect between 29 September and 10 October. During this time Golf Australia has advised that handicap golf should not be scheduled. Members will be advised of the specific dates when handicapped competitions will not be available. Non-handicapped internal daily club competitions, including normal procedures for prize allocations, will still be run through the MiClub during this time - but with no handicap adjustments.

NSW Club Professional Championship

The Northbridge staff team were back in action at Carnarvon Golf Club last week with Head Professional, Clinton Russell, taking out the NSW Club Professional Championship and teaming up with Brett Parker to take out the Head Professional and General Manager event.
