Weekend Competitions

Saturday's competition will be a Multi Tee Individual Medley Graded Stableford, Women's Individual Stableford and Medley 2BBB.

Sunday's competition will be a Medley Individual Stableford and Medley 2BBB.

Players may elect to play off any of the four tees suitable to their level of skill and handicap.

Weekly Winners

Congratulations to Tuesday's medley individual graded stableford winners, David Lewis, John Chase & Piers Codling and 2BBB Multiplier winners, Denis Brown & Stuart Towers.

Congratulations to Louise Rees & Sue Taubman, for taking out the winning the women's women's Major 4BBB Knockout and Ann Wignall & Cally Wood, winning the Minor 4BBB Knockout. Congratulations also daily graded stableford winners, Jennifer Colman and Kaye Stewart.

Winning Thursday's medley individual graded stableford was, Marcus Pritchard, Andrew Chee & John Firkin.

Men's Midweek Cup

Congratulations to John Firkin leading the charge of the men's midweek cup after yesterday round, with 39 points on a countback. The second round will be played Thursday, 25th, September. 

This event is a stableford competition conducted over two Thursdays, with the winner being the player with the highest aggregate score. The event will be played in conjunction with the daily stableford competition.

Emerge Festival

Willoughby City Council’s Emerge Festival returns this September, with a packed program of art, music, culture and community events. The festival runs from 1 September to 12 October 2025, with more than 50 events showcasing local creativity and global cultures. This year the event will showcase Northbridge Golf Club with a Grazing on the Green event held at the club on Sunday, September 28th. With Food, Fine Wine, Music & All-ages Putting & Long Drive Competition.

Women's Sunday Pennant

The Women's Sunday Pennant team brought all the firepower they could muster for the showdown with Bardwell Valley at Randwick last Sunday. A 4/2 victory means they now progress to the semi finals, played this Sunday @ Bardwell Valley against Lakeside Camden, from 11:30, good luck girls!

Stevie Carter Memorial Trophy

Congratulations to Lindsay Domingue who took out the Stevie Carter Memorial Trophy last Sunday, with 40 stableford points. This was the second edition of the Stevie Carter trophy following the passing of the much respected and loved member of the club. Thank you so much to the family and many generous sponsors who have contributed to make the day what it is.

Changes to GolfLink

Golf Australia is launching a new digital platform called Golf Australia CONNECT, replacing the long-standing GOLF Link platform and introducing the new website GOLF.com.au and a dedicated handicap app. The new system goes live on October 2, 2025, and will provide golfers with a personal portal for their GA Handicap, scoring history, and a lifelong Golf ID. This is a nationwide transition affecting all affiliated golf clubs.

The MiClub system will be transitioned to Golf Australia Connect between 29 September and 10 October. During this time Golf Australia has advised that handicap golf should not be scheduled. Members will be advised of the specific dates when handicapped competitions will not be available. Non-handicapped internal daily club competitions, including normal procedures for prize allocations, will still be run through the MiClub during this time - but with no handicap adjustments.

The Club will keep members posted on this process and how it may affect them. We expect this change to be mostly invisible to members. For more information see the Golf Australia weblink.
