GM Appointment

The club is pleased to announce it has appointed Brett Parker to take over from the retiring Marko Delatovic as the club’s General Manager. Brett will start on 11th July and Marko’s last day of work will be Friday 15th July.
We invite members to attend Marko’s farewell at the club on Friday 15th July (from 6pm) as we celebrate and thank him for his invaluable contribution to the club and its progression over the last 23 years. Of course, we look forward to Marko being around playing golf for many years to come!
Brett is currently the General Manager at Bexley Golf Club, a position he has held for the past three years. He has been instrumental in improving the clubs’ financial position and membership growth during this period. Prior to this he was the Golf Operations Manager and Head Professional at Elanora Country Club for 15 years. Before this he was the Head Professional at Sorrento Golf Club for eight years, being awarded the Victorian Club Professional of the Year during this time.
Prior to these appointments Brett had worked at a number of golf clubs including New South Wales, Royal Sydney and Pennant Hills. Between these roles he completed a degree in Sports Studies and subsequently worked at the Australian Professional Golfers Association and Australian Golf Digest magazine.
Brett is an active community volunteer, currently sitting on the ClubsNSW, South Metro, committee. He also served as the ladies regional representative coach during his time at Sorrento, worked in public radio while at university and is a Life Member of the Forest Junior AFL Club. He spent several years on the junior AFL regional committee and has been a manager and coach of a number North Shore representative teams.
Brett lives in Roseville Chase, with his wife, Carmel, and their three children.
